Truffle ceremony for women
Are you open to a deeper experience? I invite you to a special one-to-one experience with truffles. Throughout the day, you are supported in a safe setting, with loving care, carefully chosen music and every necessary comfort.
During a psychedelic experience, a new world may open up: your senses may become sharper, music may feel more profound and you take an inward journey.
These powerful substances offer new insights into your symptoms and your relationship with them. You discover what you need and where healing may take place. During the psychedelic journey, space emerges to let go of old patterns, emotions and beliefs.
A deep connection may also arise again with yourself, your body, your femininity and your intuitive knowing. The ceremonies I facilitate give you the confidence that you can hold yourself in both your strength and your vulnerability.
My truffle ceremonies are not only about healing. They also create space to celebrate yourself and life, and to honour yourself as the wonderful woman you are.

A truly transformative journey
After years of personal development through coaching, meditation and yoga, I was still searching for a deeper connection with myself. I had heard a great deal about the transformative power of psychedelics, but kept wondering whether it was the right step for me. It felt daunting, but I was so curious about what the experience might offer me. Naturally, I was nervous before my first psychedelic experience, but Lotte’s non-judgemental and loving guidance gave me confidence straight away.
In her welcoming garden room, surrounded by nature, I felt safe enough to begin the journey inward. Through her calm presence, I was able to surrender fully to the process. That deep sense of safety and trust opened the way to a truly magical experience, in which I was able to experience an entirely new state of consciousness. The beautiful colours and music enhanced the journey, even as I moved through deeper layers and emotions. It felt as though my senses came alive in a completely new way.
Her careful preparation and aftercare helped me process and integrate my experiences into daily life. This first encounter with psychedelics helped me feel more connected to myself and relate to my insecurities differently.

11 years’ experience as a therapist | More than 10,000 hours of therapeutic support | 55 individual truffle ceremonies | 550 hours of trip sitting
What a beautiful experience my first truffle journey was. Lotte is a natural space-holding queen, entirely in her own authentic way. It felt wonderful and gave me enormous confidence, because I was quite nervous. She helped me settle gently into the welcoming space. The process had already begun beforehand, with the intake, questions and setting my intention. The table with the wheel of the year was very helpful. Preparing the truffles together also gave me a chance to become acquainted with them, and left me feeling grateful and honoured. So beautiful. The session was in July and, looking back now at the end of December, I still savour the feeling it gave me and what I took from it, reconnecting with it through the GIFT card from her card deck. Staying the night is highly recommended, so you can remain in that slower rhythm in the quiet, beautiful, colourful garden.

My first truffle journey was with Lotte. I had no idea what I was getting into, but she guided me through it incredibly well. She made sure that I felt safe, even when my mind no longer did, and took plenty of time for everything: talking things through beforehand and afterwards, empathising and thinking alongside me. Everything was cared for so thoroughly and completely. Lotte is a genuinely kind and safe person, with a great deal of knowledge and loving involvement.

A few weeks ago, I had a one-to-one session with Lotte Boekhout, in which we worked with intention, Voice Dialogue, bodywork and a full dose of truffles. It was a real celebration: a gift to myself. An inner journey into this next chapter of my life, in which I sometimes struggle with what is here now — uncertainty and a lack of clarity about the path I want to follow. During the day, we worked with Voice Dialogue, among other things. My Pusher came through clearly, as did the part of me that is content and able to enjoy life, no matter what.
Lotte works with powerful tools, and Voice Dialogue was genuinely valuable to me during this one-to-one journey. It is part of what makes journeying with Lotte so unique. What makes it a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience is her attention to detail, her warm personality and the safe space she creates. This makes it easier to surrender to the process.
The integration conversation afterwards was also incredibly valuable. Reflecting on the journey together and giving it meaning brought me even more insight into the path ahead, allowing everything to settle more fully. The uncertainty and not knowing have not disappeared, but they have become easier to carry — and certainly more enjoyable, too. The experience felt both profoundly deep and light at the same time. I am very grateful to Lotte for that.

Frequently asked questions about truffle ceremonies for women
What is a truffle ceremony?
Psilocybin is a naturally occurring substance found in certain truffles and mushrooms. It can temporarily affect your thoughts, feelings and perception. This may allow you to turn inward and experience yourself in a different way. A ceremony with truffles is therefore not the same as simply taking truffles, nor is it intended as “tripping”. It is a guided inner journey in a safe and carefully tailored setting. Everything in the ceremony — the music, surroundings, guidance and structure — is designed to support you in your inner process.
In my ceremonies, the day begins calmly, with time to settle. We discuss your intention and explore together what you need to feel safe before the experience. When you are ready, you take a carefully tailored dose of psilocybin truffles. I then support you with meditation, music and my presence. With your eyes closed, you are invited to turn inward and experience whatever arises. I remain close throughout the ceremony; you do not have to do it alone. After about four to five hours, you gradually return. We talk afterwards and close with a nourishing meal.
How do I know whether a truffle ceremony is right for me?
A truffle ceremony may suit you if you feel ready for a deeper step in your personal process. Perhaps you already understand a great deal intellectually, but feel that something at a deeper level still wants to be seen, felt or released.
Many women choose a truffle ceremony when they long for a stronger connection with themselves, their bodies, their intuition or their sense of womanhood. It may also feel appropriate if you are stuck in old patterns, repeatedly encounter the same themes or need clarity about what you truly need.
At the same time, you do not have to be certain about everything. Tension, doubt or nerves are entirely normal. A truffle ceremony is not a choice to make in haste or under pressure. It is something that needs to feel right within you. That is why I always offer a no-obligation introductory conversation. There is room in this conversation for your questions, doubts and desires. Together, we explore whether a truffle ceremony is appropriate for you at this time — not to persuade you, but so that you can sense within yourself whether this step feels right.
Is a truffle ceremony safe, and when is it unsuitable?
Truffles are among the safest psychoactive substances, but that does not mean they are free from risk. In some circumstances, a psychedelic experience may place too great a strain on your body, mind or nervous system. A ceremony is therefore discouraged when certain psychological or physical vulnerabilities are present. A truffle ceremony is not suitable in the following circumstances:
- current use of antidepressants or antipsychotics;
- a personal or family history of psychosis or schizophrenia;
- severe dissociation or serious psychological instability;
- acute psychological vulnerability, such as severe depression or severe PTSD symptoms;
- medical vulnerability, such as high blood pressure, epilepsy or heart problems;
- pregnancy or breastfeeding.
To assess carefully whether a truffle ceremony is currently safe for you, I ask you to complete a short online questionnaire in advance. This takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes and helps me gain a clearer picture of your health, any medication you take and your personal circumstances. This allows me to consider with you what is responsible. Your wellbeing and safety always come first.
Why can a women-specific setting be important during a truffle ceremony?
A truffle ceremony asks for trust, safety and surrender. For many women, these are sensitive themes. You are invited to release control, surrender to what arises, trust what you feel, receive loving support and allow yourself to be vulnerable. This can touch deeper patterns. That is precisely why choosing a setting tailored to women can be helpful: a place where you feel safe and understood, where nothing needs to be forced and where your pace leads.
A women-focused setting also recognises that your body is not separate from your experience. Your cycle and hormones may affect how you feel and how open you are at that moment to the effects of the truffles. It is therefore important to take this into account when preparing, scheduling and tailoring the dose.
This does not mean that all women are the same. It means, above all, that there is conscious space for women’s experiences, the female body and a loving setting. In my ceremonies, you are in careful hands. This tailored support can make a significant difference to how safe, supported and receptive you feel.
What if I am afraid of losing control during a truffle ceremony?
It is entirely understandable to be afraid of losing control or to feel nervous about surrendering to the experience. For many women, this is precisely the most daunting part of a psychedelic experience: surrendering to what arises and allowing yourself to be vulnerable.
At the same time, it is often also what draws women to it. Many women long to spend less time in their heads and be more present in their bodies; not always to be the one carrying and arranging everything, but to live with greater trust and surrender. A ceremony with truffles can be a valuable experience in which to practise this — not by forcing anything, but by experiencing that you are supported and can relax within that.
A psychedelic experience does not mean that you are “gone” or no longer aware of anything. The degree of control you experience is closely related to the dose. In my ceremonies, we therefore carefully consider a dose appropriate to you and your circumstances. If the experience becomes challenging, many things may help: breathing, sharing what you are experiencing, adjusting the music, sitting upright or touch if desired. I remain close and guide you through challenging moments.
Most women I support find that they can communicate what they need and remain consciously present during the experience.
How can I prepare for a truffle ceremony?
A truffle ceremony begins before the day itself. There is often a longing, question or intention. It helps to reflect on this in the days or weeks beforehand. What themes are present? What patterns do you recognise? What do you long for, or what would you like to move towards? Your intention does not need to be fixed. It gives direction, but the experience itself cannot be controlled.
When you book a ceremony with me, you receive a preparation workbook. It helps you approach the ceremony consciously and give attention to your intention. You can choose a standalone ceremony or a programme with preparation sessions. I guide you step by step so that you feel supported even before the ceremony. This preparation often means that you not only enter the ceremony more consciously, but can also feel through the experience more deeply.
Why is integration important after a truffle ceremony?
A truffle ceremony can open and touch a great deal. You may gain important insights, begin to recognise patterns, allow feelings that have long been held back or let go of something old. Sometimes it is immediately clear after a ceremony what has shifted, and sometimes it is not clear at all. That is why integration is so important. It supports you in exploring: what did I see, what touched me, what do I want to carry forward and what may need further attention?
In the period after the ceremony, you may begin to notice what the experience has set in motion. Writing, walking, resting, talking about it or consciously pausing with what you experienced may gradually bring greater clarity. Sometimes insights ask for different choices. In this way, the experience can find a genuine place in your life.
When you book a ceremony with me, you also receive practical tools for integration, including a workbook. You can choose a standalone ceremony or a programme with integration sessions. I guide you step by step so that you can allow the insights from your journey to settle calmly, better understand what they mean for you and make new choices from there. This way, the experience does not remain only remarkable, but may also take on real meaning in your life.
