Support for stress-related symptoms and burnout in Anna Paulowna
Have you felt tired, empty or on edge for some time? Do you notice that taking a short break is no longer enough to recharge properly? Perhaps you are already off sick, or feel that you are getting closer to that point.
Is your mind constantly active? Do you worry a great deal and find it increasingly difficult to maintain perspective, calm or focus? Do you notice that you are more emotional, irritable or uncertain, and that small things overwhelm you more easily?
Is your body sending more and more signals, such as physical tension, poor sleep, palpitations, headaches, abdominal symptoms or a feeling of being constantly on edge? Perhaps you also notice stress affecting your body, hormones, cycle or women’s health.
Perhaps people tell you to rest, but you feel that you need more than simply working less or doing nothing for a while. Perhaps you have felt for some time that you need to begin caring for yourself differently.
Stress and burnout are not only about doing too much. They are often also about carrying on for too long, adapting yourself, carrying a great deal and feeling that there is little room to truly recover. Your body says stop while your mind may still be trying to continue. This can be confronting, but it can also show you something valuable.
Burnout is not only a period in which you become stuck. It can also be a phase in which you may rediscover what you need: where your boundaries lie, what you need, what rest means to you and what your body is asking of you. Not so that you can become your “old self” again as quickly as possible, but so that you can move forward differently.
What does support for stress-related symptoms and burnout in Anna Paulowna look like?
Your nervous system forms the foundation of your health and vitality. It influences your hormones, digestion, immune system, emotions and the way you respond to stress. Stress-related symptoms and burnout never exist in isolation. Your body and emotions continually affect one another.
Perhaps you recognise the pattern of always carrying on, caring for others and adapting yourself. Constantly keeping all the plates spinning is not only stressful and exhausting; it also takes you further and further away from yourself. I help you break that cycle.
In the sessions, there is space to slow down and feel what you truly need. Together, we look at what this period does to you and what it asks of you. By combining ACT coaching with body-oriented exercises, we explore not only the symptoms themselves, but also what may underlie your stress and overload. Step by step, this can bring greater calm to your mind and body. From there, space for recovery can emerge.
“From the very first moment, it felt safe and familiar, and I am incredibly grateful to Lotte for her warm way of coaching. Thanks to her, I feel happier, lighter and full of energy again.” — Isa
What is the difference between stress-related symptoms, stress-related exhaustion and burnout?
Stress-related symptoms are signs that you have been under pressure for some time. For example, you may feel tired, tense or irritable, sleep poorly or worry a great deal. You can often still carry on, but doing so costs more and more energy. With stress-related exhaustion, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep all the plates spinning. You feel emotional, rushed or overloaded more quickly and have less perspective. You may notice that you can no longer manage ordinary tasks as you did before. With burnout, your system is much more deeply exhausted. A restful weekend or a few days off is no longer enough to recover. Your capacity is greatly reduced and everyday things may already feel like too much.
The difference lies mainly in severity, duration and impact. Stress-related symptoms are often a warning. Stress-related exhaustion shows that you have been pushing beyond your limits for a long time. Burnout usually requires deeper recovery because your body and mind have become genuinely exhausted.
What do stress and burnout have to do with women’s health?
Stress and burnout can affect women’s health in different ways. If you are under pressure for a long time, your body often remains in a kind of survival mode. You sleep and recover less well, while your nervous system remains active. This can also affect your hormones, cycle, periods and menopause symptoms. That does not mean stress is always the cause of these symptoms. Women’s health often involves an interplay of hormones, the nervous system, emotions, lifestyle, demands and recovery. It can help to receive support from someone who consciously considers the connection between body and mind.
Why is rest alone often not enough for burnout?
Rest is important, particularly with burnout. Your body and mind need time to recover from a long period of tension and overload. But rest alone is often not enough, particularly if you are used to carrying on, adapting yourself or only noticing your boundaries very late. With burnout, your system has often been overloaded for so long that relaxation no longer comes naturally. You may take time off while your mind keeps racing. You may lie on the sofa yet feel guilty.
Burnout is not something you resolve by “just getting some rest”. It takes time, compassion and support that looks beyond the symptoms alone, so that you not only recover, but also learn to relate differently to tension, responsibility and yourself.
When should you seek help for stress-related symptoms or burnout?
You do not have to wait until you are completely stuck before seeking help. If you notice that you have been tired for a long time, sleep poorly, worry a great deal or feel less and less inner space, it is important to take your symptoms seriously. Support can also help if your body sends increasingly frequent signals such as tension, headaches, palpitations, abdominal symptoms or feeling on edge. These symptoms are not merely inconvenient; they may be a sign that you have been pushing beyond your limits for too long. Seeking help can also be valuable when rest does not feel sufficient, when your mind keeps racing, you find it difficult to relax or you repeatedly fall back into the same patterns.
My support pays attention to your body, nervous system, thoughts and feelings. You learn to recognise when your body has been “switched on” for too long and what you need to settle again. This gives your natural capacity for recovery more space and can help greater balance to emerge, physically and mentally and emotionally.

“I really appreciated looking together with Lotte at where I was getting stuck and what I needed. She thought things through with me and helped me find my way, but did not do it for me. It truly was a journey we undertook together. Thanks to Lotte, I have come closer to myself and experience far fewer physical symptoms and negative thoughts. I always found the atmosphere warm and pleasant. Lotte is very attentive and radiates calm, while also being direct and honest. A lovely combination. I would certainly recommend coaching with Lotte if you want to find more calm within yourself.”

“During the programme with Lotte, I went through an enormous transformation. Her approach is particularly valuable because it is not a quick fix, but a complete programme. When I encounter challenges now, I consciously pause with those experiences and apply the new insights. This has changed my entire perspective. I felt safe with Lotte from the beginning; she proved to be a warm and skilled coach. It felt like a shared journey in which you are not alone.”
Nikki
“Over the past few months, I followed a coaching programme with Lotte. Through many exercises and conversations, I learnt an incredible amount about myself and my symptoms. It is a very personal programme, but Lotte is highly knowledgeable and had a good sense of what I needed. There was also always space for me to say what felt right for me. From the very first moment, it felt safe and familiar, and I am incredibly grateful to Lotte for her kind and warm way of coaching.”
Lisanne
“Among other things, I was looking for more calm in my mind and a deeper connection with my body and feelings. Lotte has a great deal of knowledge and experience, and works with gentleness, love, calm and creativity. She always seemed to know exactly what I needed. The combination of ACT and yin yoga was the ideal way for me to engage more physically alongside our conversations. It was something I had never experienced before and proved very valuable. I also received personal exercises to work on. I learnt a great deal and am grateful that I was able to do this together with Lotte!”
